In response to national energy-saving and emission-reduction policies, Honrock has been actively promoting environmental protection measures in the beautiful Laoshan Beizhai Scenic Area. Since the National Development and Reform Commission revised and approved the "Energy Conservation Law" in July 2016, domestic companies have increasingly focused on the rational use of energy and the reduction of energy consumption and emissions. Honrock, in particular, strictly adheres to environmental regulations in its production process, striving to utilize resources efficiently and minimize the environmental impact on the scenic area.

Starting in May 2022, Honrock invited Shandong Shihua Testing and Certification Co., Ltd. to conduct a carbon footprint study on its lock products, aiming to assess the greenhouse gas emissions at each stage of the product's lifecycle. The carbon footprint study covers emissions from raw material extraction, production, distribution, use, to final disposal or recycling. This research helps the company understand the sources and amounts of carbon emissions from its products, while also identifying potential areas for emission reduction.

Through this study, Honrock is not only able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also enhance communication efficiency with consumers and buyers, strengthening its sense of social responsibility and brand reputation. This effort not only boosts the company's competitiveness in the market but also aligns with the trend of green development.
