Beijing Daxing International Airport Line

On September 25, 2019, Beijing Daxing International Airport was officially opened to traffic. As one of the most important supporting projects of Beijing's new airport and the lifeline of rail transit connecting Beijing and Daxing International Airport, the "Beijing Daxing International Airport Line" was opened.

The new airport route is an important supporting project of Daxing International Airport, which was renovated by CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. This is also a municipal train tailored by CRRC Sifang for the Beijing New Airport Line, integrating the most advanced technologies of high-speed rail, intercity, and urban rail vehicles.

In terms of vehicle structure, the line adopts the same vehicle specifications as the national railway, with an A-type body width of 3.3 meters, which is 30 centimeters wider than traditional subway trains. The length of the middle carriage is 22 meters, similar to that of an A-type subway. Compared with the conventional high-speed train of 25 meters, the body length is shortened, reducing the load and weight of the vehicle. In addition to seven passenger trains, the city terminal also has a dedicated vehicle for transporting passengers' checked baggage.
